Let's talk about the Cherry Blossom Biome!

There's a brand-new biome coming to Minecraft in update 1.20 - the Cherry Blossom biome. Available to try out now in Java snapshot and coming later to Bedrock preview, this biome is filled with beautiful cherry blossom trees. 

These trees come with a full wood set that is perfect for builders partial to a bit of pink, and you can even plant your own cherry blossom trees using saplings found in the biome. 

As with other 1.20 features, we're still developing and iterating on the cherry blossom biome and would love to hear general thoughts and feedback, as well as how you feel about the new wood set from a visual standpoint.

    Suggestion: there is a higher chance of pink sheep spawning here than other biomes.

    Pls make a new viilgaer type in this biome and jow u added cherry forest without adding cherry fruit 🍒

    Yes,I like it I play minecraft letest version and I am playing minecraft of 5 years and please add cherry blossom 🌸 bayoum and it looks like different and beautiful bayoum

    The cherry blossom trees should generate with spore blossom, I think it fits in perfect.

    To help make the biome feel less empty I feel like pink sheep, allays and the 2 fox variants should spawn here. It would add to the mystical vibe of the forest and it would give players a reason to want to find it other than the wood. Since it looks like a rare biome it makes sense to add rare mobs to it. 
    As others have said I would also love if the leaves were a lot less compact, to make the trees feel lighter and more elegant like in real life

    Add a mangrove village Add cheries and make trail ruins spawn in this biome and in the both deserts (the red and the normal) and add some 17 glass doors made from glass pane 16 doors from every color and 1 for tinted glass

    The biome feels a bit bland in my opinion, and the grass color doesn't fit it at all. I think with a greener grass like in a flower forest and with some extra plants like bamboo, it would look awesome.

    I absolutely love the way the biome looks, however. I think it's a huge missed opportunity that they aren't bigger and more frequent. most of them I've found aren't large at all and with so much potential i feel as though it will be under-represented in the final update.

    i would love to see more of them in a survival world and not have to create a buffet world just to have a big enough grove to build in.

    (bonus: i think it would be cute to have pink sheep spawn more frequently in the grove)

    I am not a fan of the current cherry blossom biome, it is too pink for my liking, so could there be a ‘special’ cherry blossom biome with snow, with really cool village houses made of bamboo for walls, cherry blossom logs for roofs, gray or blue beds in the floor. A trident and fishing rod will be an obtainable loot. It will be near an ocean with a birch/oak/spruce dock extending into the water and it will be next to a mountain. Plus, in this type of cherry blossom biome there would be no bees. Having a potion shop in this biome/village would also be cool. These houses should be a bit larger than regular villager houses. It will be like a combination of a fishing village and a snow village. Snow foxes and white cats will spawn in this biome.

    I think pink sheep will have a higher chance of spawning in the cherry blossom biome.

    I think cherry blossom trees should have cherries in the same way that oak trees have apples.

    When you are in the cherry blossom biome, you should have a chance (either as a weather event or just an atmosphere event) to see cherry blossom petals blowing in the wind. It could be similar to how Basalt delta biomes have the ash effect when you enter them.

    I think that it would be better to have a different type of grass block for the biome. I honestly believe we ALL get tired of the default base block we see for the plains, and I honestly think it's just a bit lazy to make them the same. Also, it would be neat if all the trees got the particle effect.

    I always thought cherry blossoms 🌸 would be such cute leaves to have around as decorations. So I think this is a must have!

    This is a ridiculous idea: but what about unique wolf and cat variants called the samurai dog and the ninja cat? Other then their models, they don't have to be any different.

    Moolips and more other mobs in the Cherry Grove biome would be nice. And also villages. Maybe a new structure. IDK just saying

    Cherry Blossom Villages would be really cool especially with an East Asian theme. Especially now that we have all these bamboo blocks in the game now.

    Make this a type of Dream Biome. Maybe add like Unicorns or Fairys. Also add Different Pink types of Flowers.
