    1) I think, since the sniffer is giant, it should have, for example, 30 hp.

    2) Sniffer sometimes just lies down like a camel. Then it doesn't sniff, but only creates peaceful sounds.

    3) Parrots can ride on the back of a sniffer, but only when not tied with a leash.

    4) It could be more resistant to knockback like a hoglin.

    5) When passing by any ordinary flowers, the sniffer has a small chance to sneeze (because it is surrounded by a new flora, it feels a little different to him). However, this doesn't work when it sniffs out the seeds.

    I love the sniffer but I feel like it needs more HP! Also I think the torchflower should glow when fully grown and perhaps more seeds that are biome specific to really make the sniffer feel useful while giving more reason to explore!

    The Sniffer is fantastic! Yes to the first three questions, and the speed seems perfect.

    I agree that it could be cool if the Torchflower emitted light, to fit the name.

    Add new plants that look nice and please add new plants because the only plant the sniffer get is not enough

    Plants that was given to sniffer should be atleast interactive or have unique attribute.Doesnt have to be useful, unique is the keyword.For example like dripleaf and spore blossom, they have unique attribute.Or making torchflower glow on spesific situation,or plant player can interact with.

    well, the sniffer is amazing but these details can help you a lot.
    
    *Add more seeds (Maybe a different seed in each biome type)
    
    *Not only decorative seeds but also consumable seeds
    
    *If you put the glowing berries in the sniffer it will glow

    What if the Sniffer sneezes sometimes if there is a lot of flowers or a spore blossom nearby. Just something cute to add. It has a big nose, why not let it have a big sneeze?

    Why is the sniffer so much more thin than most of the concept art? Shouldn't it be much larger? Or is it for pathway reasons (leads, moving through trees) etc

    I hope they add more plants that the sniffer can find for us.

    My suggestion for one of the plants would be an ancient vegetable that if fed to mobs such as pigs, cows, sheeps, chickens and etc. then it can spawn many more babies when breeding.

    And I still don't fully understand why a torchflower is needed.

    I don't really have much to say except that i can't wait to see more ancient plants that the Sniffer's sniffer can dig up

    (Also Sniffer animations are really choppy and clippy)

    I love the sniffer concept and it is coming along great as of this snapshot! I hope you guys add sole more plants for the mob though…

    Maybe the ability to 'store' plants on the Sniffer's back could be useful, and perhaps give our friend Sniffer some abilities too!

    • Glow berries/glow lichen could make the Sniffer emit light (Like another commenter suggested)
    • Pink petals could make the Sniffer look pretty and give it more confidence to find seeds (But the petals disappear after one boost)
    • Bamboo could make the Sniffer dangerous to touch
    • Vines could let the Sniffer blend in with jungles

    I hope this idea gets considered :-)

    I think the Snifflet is a bit too big, id love to see a smaller version similar to how the turtles and baby turtles have a massive difference.

    When sniffers lay down, they may accidentally dig up other seeds before they find ancient seeds. These bonus seeds depend on the soil type, so they can dig up pumpkin seeds from podzol or mushrooms from mycelium for example. When this happens, sniffers will not get up and celebrate, but continue digging until they find ancient seeds.

    I hope that the suspicious sand where sniffer eggs are found will be located in ocean ruins. That was where they were originally said to be found, and it would be the perfect structure to tie in with archaeology.

    Torchflower is great but perhaps add another 2 ancient plants (maybe one of them is an edible crop).

    And also, I would like to talk about the Torchflower. In my opinion, the plant is rather inexpressive, and few people will use it as a decor. My solution is to make it part of the ingredient of the Blindness potion. It cannot be boiled at the moment, and such a change would encourage players to plant these seeds
    And then, I would like to see more unique plants/seeds whose appearance could really be used in different ways in the decor (like, for example, plants from Roger Badger's tweet). So that these seeds are mined in different biomes, and have some unique locations, like 2x2 or 3x1 blocks.

    Make the torch flower glow in the dark (acting like a torch!). The sniffer should be able to dig up a certain seed depending on the biome’s weather (cool, hot, swamp) and each of these new flowers should have a function that is decoratively useful (torch flower glowing etc etc) and maybe adding new dyes (colors) that are specific to these flowers.

    The Sniffer should not be able to breed until its eggs are added. Then it should reproduce in a similar way as sea turtles.

    The sniffer should dig up more types of seeds, including beetroot, wheat, pumpkin, and watermelon seeds. Also, we need more types of ancient seeds, at least five (including Torchflower) would be ideal.

    The Sniffer is very cute, the animations are very good too but... There should be at least 3 seed variants, the 'Torchflower' is fine but I think that knowing the Glowberries exist, the Torchflower should emit light. Maybe not as much as a wooden torch, but maybe half as bright? Lighting 7? And perhaps the other seeds are obtained in two different biomes and that these two new plants may be very different from the conventional ones.

    I have a simple idea that could make it a lot more interesting for some people to engage with sniffers.

    I suggest that the size of every sniffer is slightly different (random, based on a bell curve distribution, influenced by stats of its parents, just like with horse breeding), so that players can compete for finding the extremes (biggest and smallest sniffers).

    This would add some more depth to this mob, because as it is right now, there isn't much incentive to breed them or keep them around.

    The way the sniffer snaps from its walking animation to its idle pose is a bit jank. Probably because the it’s too smooth. But I feel like that could be fixed without compromising the animation.

    The sniffer is really hight potential mob, but not fully exploited; You can add more features on the torchflowers, like make them glow or poisonous, and add new seeds, who gaves specials items how can interract whith blocks, or everything else. But the sniffer himself is balanced.

    I’ve set up a little automatic torchflower seed farm in a creative world, and I can say that the speed at which torchflower seeds are dug up is incredibly slow. After about an hour, only five seeds have been dug up. I’m not sure if this is because the sniffer is locked in a cage (3x3), and if it is then I don’t think there any indication that sniffer needs to be let free to get more seeds. I think the amount of seeds that are produced, needs to be much higher, the frequency at which they’re dug up should be higher, and maybe when they are dug up, between 1-4 could be dug up instead of always 1. This especially needs to be increased since this is the only way to get torchflower seeds.

    Otherwise, everything is pretty perfect. I hope the sniffer eggs are still gotten from archy in ocean ruins.

    It would be cool if sniffers had full collision, so you could stand on it and bump into it
