do you really think that someone will go to dig up potsherds just for the sake of the same type of home decoration? of course not! lack of motivation to excavate. I would like to see the functionality of vases (for example, like a chest to store items), the ability to put flowers in them by holding Shift. And I don't understand the reason why you don't want to add vase coloring? I hope other players will support me

Can you give the players the option of dying the decorated pots? Maybe the recipe would be the normal pattern for the decorated pot with a dye in the center, or after crafting the pot, adding it with a dye would recolor the pot.

When falling gravel/sand lands on a item entity, it should turn into suspicious gravel with that item inside it.

What if interesting designs could generate on the surface of clumps of suspicious sand blocks, like monster fossils? When these are excavated, perhaps you could place these skeletons as blocks, or use them as armor. This could even mean fossilized variations of mob heads. The skeletons could function as a camouflage for the corresponding monster, for example, if you are wearing a creeper skeleton, creepers would remain docile towards you unless attacked.

I'm interested to see variations in Archeology found in the Nether and possibly the End. Come to think of it, that would add something to do on the main island once you've defeated the Dragon.

Deberían añadir más contenido en la arqueología de minecraft, tal vez de esa forma la comunidad valoraría más la actualización.

There should be a way to put stuff in suspicious sand for minecraft bedrock edition kind of like this link https://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/114i01p/you_can_now_make_suspicious_sand_and_hide_items/

    I really like archaeology.
It might be nice to be able to color the jars.

you should make a iceberg dig site with a new ancient mob that's small, inspiration from virus within ice

perhaps it can be some sort of tameable mite that will go around and dig up/bring you items but maybe it could also dig up despawned items

It would be really nice if we'd get to color them :)

I think trowels would be a good addition to the game, with a different use to shovels. Instead of digging up dirt, it carefully removes the layers of a dirt block to reveal an object. It could be that only certain types of dirt reveal objects.

Love the aspect. Really hope more places to explore and new artifacts to find maybe if possible add dig sites across the world

It'd be wonderful if there was like a long archaeological quest you could put together. To find some crazy treasure and you forge a key along the way with all the archaeological sites. Like different biomes could have different lost civilizations that possessed different key shards.

Or maybe you build a key that opens a tomb in the desert that you fight a new boss and can craft a new unique bow that could have a unique function and enchants similar to the trident.

Or a pair of King Tassets that can be worn on the leg slot that give you some kind of buff. Skeleton admiration?!?!? The player could become a Necromancer at night!

✯✯Sería genial que en la grava o arena sospechosa, se pueda encontrar estatuas (tamaño de macetas o cabezas) cuyas estatuas tengan forma de :Sniffer, creeper, aldeano, camello etc✯✯

The pots should have a 9 slot inventory, and when you break it, the items doesn't spread so it acts like a early game shulker box

one missed oppertunity is getting bones from suspicious sand or gravel when i think of Archeology i thing of big fossils getting discovered but in minecraft you find a piece of a old pot or a diamond wich are cool but i feel like archeology should be a bigger mechanic than just digging up cool things, like making it a part of the game

I really like this feature as it adds a unique challenge to gathering resources by having those resources disappear if you aren't careful. In the trail ruins specifically there are some parts with intentional air pockets that will fall and possibly break suspicious sand if you go through normally, however if you go underneath and dig around to look for those air pockets and add blocks under the gravel you can get all the rewards if you go back to the top down approach. I just wish that I could use the decorative pottery shards more without needing to search for hours or days for like 5 maybe. Side note, using dyes somehow for different colored pots would be really cool.

I think as others have said it would be nice if there were more places to find archaeology sites. I recall seeing another suggestion about cave paintings, and this could be a good way of integrating archaeology with caves, so it's easier to find normal archaeology items in regular caves. This site could have pots with pictures of wolves and cows, beyond archery, and for other loot could have bone, coal, bows, and leather armor.

Another idea is "ruined home", which you would find in villages. This archaeology site could work as an easier-to-find dig site, being as they'd generate in or near villages, and would be filled with cobweb and gravel. Could also maybe have "ruined lumberjack's hut" and "ruined campsite", which are like the desert well but for forests and similar biomes.

Otherwise I'm really liking archaeology, and finding pottery shards is a lot of fun!

It'd be cool if powering a pot prevented it's last item from being pulled by a hopper. It'd make sorting systems way more convenient.

I think if you could put rails on pots it would be very cool, it would minimize the space sorting systems take up, it would even make for some cool decorations as the top of the pot sticks out of the railing making a cool visual effect, like a stopper or booster. You can do this with commands but I feel like this should be a feature in survival as well. Overall a very good block, I love the functionality of it.

please, fix decorative pods to use as item filter, direct hopper works but layered hopper doesn't.

it save spend a lot of iron and do more useful the clay.

Now, of course I don't intend to make Train Ruins irrelevant, but perhaps Suspicious Sand or Gravel could be added to the Fishing treasure table? With only one block fishable at a time, fishing would hardly replace the ruins as the source of the sherds and exclusive discs and trims, but would be a nice way to access the sherds without having to generate new chunks in the hope that your luck will be enough to find ruins before getting lost :) generally I think the new updates have been emphasizing world generation luck - loot chests and rare biomes - far too much

I think that once you do it once, there is no need to do it again, ever.

Looks great, but the brush seems too large in the player's hand and should be smaller.

I don't know if you are going to see this but in my opinion the archeology is absurd, the only thing worth finding is the new music disc but from there on it goes unnoticed, the truth is that so far I bet no one is going to have fun finding ramdon blocks in the middle of a biome, this new addition has aged terribly.

They could add additional archeological stuff like 3D totems that could be used as decoration but on the other hand they could give effects. Or things like skeletons of animals like sniffer and villagers. I miss cat pot in pyramid
