    I consider this mechanic one of the worst in the gaming industry.
    Some mobs can become stronger, but only if it's narratively based.
    But for starters, it’s better to add more strong mobs to the game that appear less often than usual, while they must be present from the very beginning of the game, so that in the early stages you have to run away from them, or spend more energy on the fight. In the later stages of the game, the player will easily cope with them, feeling the progress.
    In addition, smarter mobs (Skeletons, Illagers, Piglins) need to improve their intelligence so that they can sneak, run, keep their distance in combat, spawn with random equipment, shields, use it.
