blocks like grass and logs need more variation, logs would have three to five similar textures, all matching and being picked randomly. more blocks I think this could apply to are: planks, all/some bricks, dirt, most rocks (only the stone background of the ores, not the shape), and etc.
(the bold letters for dirt was not an accident)
