Let's Talk about the Sniffer !

With the Sniffer being in the Snapshots, I feel it is finally time to express one feature that would make the Sniffer more dynamic with the world it is in. Let me explain:

Snowfall Interaction:

  • When the Sniffer is in a Cold Biome during Snow, its skin (head and back) accumulates snow. (If a Sniffer with that "Snow Skin" moves to a warmer biome, or is under Rain, the snow "melts", and the Skin reverts to the original one.)

  • The player can right-click the "Snowy" Sniffer with a shovel, which drops a few snowballs depending on the size of the mob.

The reasons:

  • Weather interactions with the Sniffer.

  • Similar case with large real life mammals, during Winter (accumulating snow on themselves, like bisons).

  • It allows the Sniffer to be part of the modern world, no matter where the player revives them.

  • It's adorable, and you want to keep them warm.

    A simple yet cute feature. Reminds me of how Striders will shiver when not in lava. I think this would be a great addition

    I think this is a great idea. Dynamic interaction of the mob with the environment and the player with the mob based on the environment. Love it!
