Beacons should be updated to have a slot where you can put in a potion of any effect, which the beacon will then emit. Since you can't obtain haste potions in survival mode they could either be made obtainable such as chest loot or from brewing, or it could be the default effect of the beacon. Similarly to how beacons already work certain effects can be put into tiers which you will have to make the beacon base/pyramid to that size. For potion effect level 2 you would still have to make a max beacon base/pyramid.
The range of the beacon should also go farther for each tier since the range isn't that effective for larger scale builds.
