Inventory Slot for Elytra

I think we all know the situation when we are flying with our elytra and accidentally die from fall damage but we could have survived if we could put our chestplate on. So I think it would be best if we got an extra slot for the Elytra.

  The elytra is already quite overpowered, but is slightly balanced by it replacing the chestplate. I don't think the player should be made much stronger before they add new and bigger dangers

  No, it's balanced for players to have to choose flight or protection. Both would be OP. It's up to the player to know how to use them in situations.

  Kinda op imo. Also they already made swapping quickly easier with the armor hotswap thing in the new snapshot so i see no real reason for this

  the fact that elytra replaces chestplate is the balancing part. you're trading out major protection for flight
