Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Underused copper

Since its launch, copper has had few uses. It should have the same uses as iron and gold, being able to manufacture tools, armor, pressure plates, fences, nuggets. And iron and gold could have slabs and stairs too. One could even think about starting to make metallic alloys of iron + copper, gold + copper, iron + gold.

    I agree that copper is underused, though I don't think it needs to be made into tools or weapons, I would love to see more items or building blocks with it. This would be the same for your alloy idea as well, the weapon tier system wouldn't benefit from more steps as easy as it is to progress up to diamond. 

    I wouldn't mind seeing copper be used to create new work stations and tools that allow for item sorting, some basic automation, or other more grind reducing industrialization that works with redstone.
