Let's talk about Village Borders!

Village Borders were an old block meant to be used for villages, but never added, so I feel it could have a redemption, by making it a server operator tool that would block players and mobs from moving, and could be invisible to survival players!

  Barriers, an invisible block, already exist and have nearly the same function

  There are already blocks like this!!! There is the barrier, an invisible block. There are also border blocks that look like stone blocks (but red) and stop players and mobs from going over (or under) them. However, border blocks do have a very annoying particle they should get rid of lol -- apologies if I'm wrong (I haven't been online in a while,) but I believe you can get these by the "/give @s border_block" and "/give @s barrier" commands.   To those talking about barriers and border blocks, yes I am well aware of them, border blocks are just for education edition, so yeah you can see the issue with that, and barriers are pretty flawed, people can see the block outline, and you can't place above height limit for if you want no ceiling, plus it's kind of tedious to place barriers all there, especially without worldedit.
