Skulk virus

A new skulk block that opens up and releases skulk spores into the air infecting mobs in order to kill them to make skulk more dynamic and realistic in a fictional sense. The fungal infection can infect players and it lasts for 5 minutes with minimal symptoms at first but the longer you have it the worse it gets until you can't move anymore and in the last few seconds you fall to the ground and die creating a new skulk catalyst with a patch of skulk and the new block I mentioned to really continue the spread since players are the optimal host for the skulk virus and milk can't save you potions and apples only prolong the effects and non hostile mobs run away from you as to not get infected.

    I like this idea except mabye it would just apply the darkness effect
