Layering armor trims

I absolutely LOVE armor trims. I think it is one of the most substantial features that Mojang has added ever since reworking the cave systems, and that’s saying something. I really want more to be done with this feature because I think it’s such a good idea and deserves to be expanded on. My first idea is to give the player the option to layer trims on top of the same piece of gear similar to how you could layer designs on top of banners. The possible combinations one could get on a single piece of armor would be really cool to see. Another idea would be similar to dying a piece of leather gear, where if you use the same design on the same piece of gear twice using different colors, they could mix together to make unique colors that otherwise wouldn’t be possible. Anyways I really hope you consider this and because I love this feature and I really want to see more of it!!!

    Armor trims are not good enough on there own, so adding this would perfect it. Maybe adding patterns to armors such as creepers, flowers, scales, ect would be a good idea too.

    Would absolutely love layered armor trims!

    If with, along side this, they added an armor trim that coats the entire armor with a desired colour, that players could then typically use as a base layer for their armor trimming, would be beyond perfect.
