The same methods as armour trims but you can customise tools and elytra.

  And weapons. What will change such characteristics as attack speed, damage, durability, ability to parry.

  Man I just wanted to post that but I think that the shield does not need any customization since it has the banner addition

  elytra, maybe, tools, maaaaaaybe this isn't a bad suggestion and while its not something i wouldmind having, it doesn't make alot of sense
