this update would make armor flexing much more fun because you can work hard to get armor or cool trims and you get to show off all of your work, please consider this as a part of the 1.20 update.

According to the reality, the function of the " Smithing Table" should not be to consume the " Smithing Template" to make the Diamond Armor to become the netherite Armor, but to consume the "Fuel(like lava)" to make the Netherite Ingot melt into the " Smithing Template" and fuse with the Diamond Armor to form the netherite Armor

The process of fusion will consume some " Smithing Template " durability.

The fusion process will consume some of the durability of the " Smithing Template".

The material for the Smithing Template should be Black Stone + Netherite Ingot or Ancient Debris + Magma Cream or Blaze Powder

You should have it with certain trims you can add special items like a conduit for water breathing or slime blocks to boots for fall damage reduced or mix mob heads to armor for you to get closer to mobs with out them seeing you or cape with your chest plate  even with your tools can have trims or special items too buff them

Hey Mojang just an idea but maybe trims can have a buff where if you have the set of the same trim then you get a small effect like gold it could be friends with piglins

I think getting netherite items will be too difficult. Maybe a good idea would be to put the smithing template on the smithing table, and have it be reusable. This way players could upgrade their smithing table.

When you use the Armor trim with gold Piglins still attack you even though you are wearing gold.

Here is my feedback. Could some of the templates could be enchanted when you find them(And could be applied to armor when trimmed), and maybe they could even be aquired by fishing? Along with applying this to Horse Armor, Elytras, and MAYBE weapons and tools as well??? It was just a thought that if it's purely cosmetic, it can be boring. And this has to go to other armors as well. Some of the smithing templates could have their own unique set of uses as well. Like the Snout trim with gold could prevent piglins from attacking you? It could require a full set of Netherite Armor with the trim as well, but that's up to ya'll(Mojang/Microsoft).

The recipe to duplicate smiting templates is also quite expensive. Using 7 diamonds just seems a bit excessive and tedious.

Someone else had an idea that one trim template could be used infinitely, while diamond could then just be the cost to apply it. Armor trims should be a reward and a motive for exploration, so the value should be mainly in finding them.

I understand that there is an effort to increase the value of diamond, however I think that diamond just doesn't make sense as the cost in this case, since diamond has no world connection to how an armor trim would be applied. Gold, iron, and copper do make sense, as they more closely resemble quicksilver, which was used back in the days to add decoration to weapons and armor.

I also think that some of the armor trims are a bit too bold, since they go beyond simply adding customization and completely disfigure the appearance of the armor. The amount of pixels added from certain trims could be reduced, and the impact of patterns could be reduced so that the appearance of armor still remains intact and the aesthetic of the game is not completely blown out of the water.

Customization is a good thing, but I think that the devs should avoid disturbing the flow and aesthetic of the game by giving the players too much power. Playing Minecraft is an interaction between the player and the game, and just as the game should not be too restrictive on the player, as to make the game unplayable, the player should still be playing within a game with it's own restrictions and quirks, otherwise the game isn't making any interaction with the player.

I feel like too many of the patterns feel too similar to other patterns, ultimately leading to less customization potential. Would be nice too see trims play around with more shapes/concepts, instead of a bunch of variants of the Coast trim look. Specifically, I would love to see more vertical lines, organic shapes, wavy lines, zigzags, solid accent portions etc.

Also think certain armor sets have the issue of getting one trim design that stands out and looks really cool, but the other pieces don't really fit into any theme and are ultimately forgettable (looking at you, Ward and Eye). In general, even though all the trims are technically different, the difference of a lot of them is too minor to be worth mixing and matching them.

More distinct armor trims would also be good for colorblindness, as it would better help colorblind players distinguish other players by their armor trim patterns. A lot of the current designs might be mistaken for each other by colorblind players as it stands.

Also players would probably care more about seeking these out if they were more distinct. Being able to concretely tell where somebody got a trim from at first glance makes the specific trim you're using more of a status symbol. If the average player can't distinguish Coast and Spire, going all the way to an End City isn't all that worth it.

    C'est un super ajoue le seul problème c'est qu'ils n'apportent aucun "power-up".
Il faudrais que chaque mineraie puisseent apporté quelque chose a l'armure
Ex netherite -> résistance au feu
