Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Scrolls

These are hybrids between books and quills and maps. They behave just like a book and quill, but you can hold them in your hand and the text on the scroll will be visible like a map. The one drawback is that they only have one page. They're crafted with sticks above and below a piece of paper. Perhaps these can also go inside chiseled bookshelves!

    But this is not a scroll, just a sheet, a note.
    In fact, the scroll contains a large amount of paper, many pages if it were a book. That is why it is rolled during storage.
