Two locomotives can be coupled together. This will create a 2-unit locomotive and the train will become a 'fast train'.
When clicking the 2-unit locomotive with the 'Use Item' button, the 'combustion menu' opens. The 'combustion menu' looks similar to the 1-unit locomotive but has two fields for coal or charcoal and two icons indicating 'fired up'. When both icons show 'fired up', then the 'fast train' locomotive can be run.
Driving the train, coupling minecarts, and dismounting the driver's cart works exactly the same as for the 'basic train'.
The maximum speed of the 'fast train' is 24 blocks per second (24 bks/s).
The fuel consumption is twice as much as for the 'basic train'.
When the 2-unit locomotive has only one 'fuel field' fired up, then the train's maximum speed is only 16 blocks per second (16 bks/s).
