Please return to the previous way Java's creative inventory was organized, or at least rework it in a way that still keeps legacy players in mind and how everything has been organized in the past
With the newest release there has been a major creative inventory rework, and in all honesty I can't stand it. There have always been plenty of new blocks and items added to the game, and they have always found there places within the already established system. Now, the entire creative inventory has been reworked to the point where everything feels like it's in the wrong place. There are even blocks and items that appear in the inventory in multiple tabs when they really shouldn't be (Examples: the entire collection of shulkers, beds, candles, and banners appearing in both "Colored Blocks" and "Functional Blocks")
With the way the creative inventory has been organized in the past, everything feels out of place when selecting a creative tab. For example, the first tab, labelled "Building Blocks" with a brick block icon in both cases, was always filled solely with full blocks, slabs, and stairs no matter how far down you scroll. Now, the player is immediately subjected to fences, doors, buttons, etc. These throw off the overall feel of the tab, and it's an unwelcome change at that
I have ideas for how the creative menu could have been reworked, but I've run out of room to post. Quick version is: condensing, and re-ordering. Please don't completely mix every block and item into a new tab
