I feel like the Frost Walker enchantment is a particularly unique one in the world of Minecraft due to its interesting functionality. However, I also feel that when a new player is looking at either their enchanting table or their enchanted books, the actual effects of the Frost Walker enchantment don't seem particularly obvious unless you happen to be close to a body of water! This could lead to newer players feeling either confused or a little disappointed that their enchantment seemingly has "no effect", at least at first glance.
I feel like a good addition to remedy this would be by having boots enchanted with Frost Walker leave a trail of snow behind and around the wearer when used on solid ground (with a similar effect to how Snow Golems are able to leave trails of snow consisting of a single layer.) It would provide a unique look and feel to the boots when used on the ground - and could act as a subtle hint to newer players that the enchantment has a little more to it than first meets the eye.
I feel, for balancing reasons, that it would be best if the snow shortly melted after being created (similar to Frost Walker's ice, and again, a method of showing this effect to newer players.) However, this effect could alternately be used as a mid-to-late-game snow farm, if the melting effect were not to be implemented. Overall, it's a basic extension to the enchantment's functionality, but with a unique effect and feel all of its own!
