Spears and spike pit traps

Just sticks and stone for spears, set up on the crafting table like an arrow pointing up (two sticks, three stones). And spiked floors, and a grass/leaf trap (imagine a carpet over an empty block that disappears when a mob steps on it). I mean, Survivalcraft 2 has all this stuff and that was from like 4 or 5 years ago the last time I played it. Maybe the spears can be single use or something, or only thrown like arrows (call them javelins?). Maybe the spike pits can be broken after 5 or 10 mobs fall on them. I'm thinking either instant-kill (or massive damage) or just double damage from magma blocks.
