Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

If ordinary books in bookshelves stop increasing the level of enchantments in the enchantment table, and we have to collect our own library of enchanted books in chiseled bookshelves. Then such a "enchantment extractor" will come in handy.

I've played with data packs that do similar and it helps with keeping good enchantments for sure, as doing the random chance with the enchanting table is a hassle. If Mojang makes chiseled bookshelves to reduce that randomness of enchanted would be awesome as well, and probably more likely as the gameplay wants you to keep using XP to get new spells and wear out items. Perhaps to balance the Disenchater would have a cost (amethyst?) and XP to move enchantments. This would give a use for amethyst and if the XP is more expensive to disenchant still keep incentive to use up a item and make a new one.
