Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Sideways Slabs

I know sideways slabs are not under consideration because they are considered to "stifle creativity". However, I'm still making this post because sideways slabs would allow for many more building opportunities. Rather than creating a separate block, slabs could be placed directionally like logs. Thus slabs could be placed sideways without having a new block or an unintuitive mechanic.

    No offense to Minecraft or anybody, but “stifling creativity” is the worst reason I’ve ever heard. I think it would ignite more creativity, not “stifle” it. I could see so many different uses for these blocks. The fact that Minecraft won’t add them is just sad. Maybe they could make them difficult to get or un-craft-able or something. I wouldn’t mind it as much if they had a better reason other than one that just sounds like an excuse.
