A way to make trapdoors unmoving

A lot of door designs using trapdoors around the door have this very commonly issue being accidentally clicking the trapdoors rather than the door. If there was a way to make some trapdoors not open or close. Which ever way the builder wants it to stay. I was thinking maybe we could make locks out of iron bits and once a trapdoor is place you could crouch while holding the locks and place the locks on the trapdoors you don't want to move. Similar to using honeycomb on copper to stop it from aging
