Bamboo golem

Easily crafted from bamboo planks. This mob will look like a wooden statue. He will mostly just stand, but will very rarely move. This mob can be given a totem of undying, then if you are far from home without a totem, he will still save you.

  It could also spawn in outposts as a wooden statue, but to give a golem the totem of undying, you must first give it bamboo.

  Great idea but to make it better I think you should ask to add jungle villages to go with the bamboo golem
