Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).
I think a spear would be a good early game trident. Lets say it takes two sticks or bamboo in a diagonal crafting grid and a piece of flint or a iron nugget to craft. It wont be as strong as a trident or as durable. and you could make a spear trap too.
