I would recommend that the mob sounds played from a Note Block be somewhat grainy, as if played through a vintage telephone. (Just to differentiate the sounds between reality and not, as well as discourage deliberate trolling)

I like the piglin head challenge but i also recommend it being a rare find in Nether Fortresses chests to make finding one feel more rewarding since the nether fortress loot isnt updated as much as bastion remnants.

This is a cool new feature. I think it’d be awesome if the Player head made the original “Oof!” damage sound when used with noteblocks. Or maybe most player heads could make the modern day sounds, while a player head specifically belonging to Steve makes the old oof sound? It’d be great imo.

Maybe if they swapped the piglin head for the zombie piglin head it would add more to the story of the game

What if, a goat horn would also be used for this

While I like this I do think they need more sounds example(creeper head should also have the explosion sound) I also think some other heads would be nice like an enderman head

Wish there was a way to control mob sounds. Also tuning the block should change the mob's sound's pitch for more shenanigans/musical capabilities.

Also there may be a need for an advancement to have players learn to use charged creepers for mob heads. Maybe "Blow Their Mind" with a description like "Have a Creeper Charged with Lightning Blow Up Another Creeper". Explains what charged creepers are and what happens when they blow up a mob (specifically a creeper, but when new players see that, they should have gears turning to test it out on other mobs)

I like the idea of using goat horns, using a horn and the head in the recipe you should make a horn with a playable mob sound

Currently, if you place the player(steve) head on a note block, the noteblock is silent. I suggest that it makes the old nostalgic "oof" sound we all remember from Minecraft's earliest releases.

I'm all about this 1.20 update. The small changes just add so much SPICE to gameplay.

Keep up the good work o7

I think by changing the tune of the note block to a higher pitch, it should change the pitch of the mob sound you choose. Imagine a higher pitch to the Piglin sounds...

I have a few suggestions for this feature:
    1) More mob heads should be added with a more intuitive way of receiving their heads i.e. an enchantment called Beheading that provides a small chance for head drops from any mob. This way, a better "collecting" method of playing is introduced.

    2) Mob sounds should be based on a few factors: noteblock pitch and noteblock sound type (i.e a soul sand under the noteblock could play death sounds if there is a mob head on top of it)

I extended the idea of Steve head making the old "hurt" sound and here are five reasons why it should be added:

    1. All heads get same functionality.
    2. It is specifically the old "hurt" sound because the current one could sound creepy.
    3. Players may even not think that it is a sound related to something beeing hurt.
    4. Players will be able to make memes in their worlds which means more creativity.
    5. Easter egg for old players.

Make it so that the player's head can say pre-written sentences like when they ring someone's house it says hello, welcome, grouping, attention or another system where the person can even write the sentence on a sheet of paper and put it in their head so they can say it or rename the player's head and they will say their name every time

I extend the idea of the player head playing the old "oof" hurt sound. However, since most players probably associate this sound with Steve, maybe have the sound disabled if the player head contains NBT data for a player skin.

I only have 2 mob heads, the wither skeleton and ender dragon. This is likely going to remain that way unless other mob heads have easier ways of acquiring them. Just like getting a frog all the way to magma slimes in the Nether safely to get froglights being extremely difficult. I will likely never experience this feature. In other words, please make mob heads have a small percentage of acquiring upon death of that mob.

I feel like variants of mobs like husks or strays should also get a mob head. They are already similar to the existing mob heads and could add more sounds to this unique feature.

With the addition of the Piglin head and the added functionalities, I thought I might explore further possibilities and see what you guys think.

Additional Mob Heads: While I do not believe that EVERY mob needs its head to drop when exploded by a charged creeper, I believe there should be a couple more.

    • Iconic Mobs: Other iconic monsters such as the Spider and Enderman deserve a head drop as well.
    • Wither: It would be interesting if you could obtain a Wither head, though I think it would be through a different method like the Ender Dragon's head since it's a boss.
    • Warden: While this would go against what the Warden stands for by giving the player a motive to engage him, I still find this idea interesting. It would be another huge head similar to the Ender Dragon and when powered by Redstone, its antenna would wave like the Piglin's ears.

Additional Functionality: In spectator mode, you can look at the world through the eyes of an Enderman, Spider, and Creeper, and your screen is given a special filter. It would be neat if the same thing happened if you were to wear their respective heads. Of course, any new heads that are added will play their respective sounds when placed on a note block.

New Advancement: Even though the heads themselves are achievements, it might make for a cool advancement to collect them all.

Me gustaría que las cabezas pudieran hablar a través de nubes de texto.

Parecido a como las cabezas de Futurama tienen vida.

1.- More Heads (Warden, Enderman, spider,...)

    2.- Steve sound "Ouh!"

3.- pitch sound variation with a block under of the noteblock

Secretly add the old and iconic Minecraft sound when you get hit by a mob, When a player head is on a note block

The new feature letting us have a player head make any sound is really cool!

I still think it’d be awesome if at least the Steve head in the creative inventory made the old oof sound by default.

I think being able to pitch the mob noises would be amazing for music making.

The sound of a creature can attract the corresponding creature, for example, the sound of a Piglin head can attract a wither skull, and the sound of a skull's head can attract a Wolf

Does this mean that we'll get more mob heads coming other than the mentioned Piglin head? Like maybe a husk head or a spider head?

I wonder if this would be weird but what a pig too? Like what if we could kill a pig with lightning or a charged creeper and they would drop a head? I feel like we can all agree that pigs are kinda the Minecraft mascot
