In Microsoft's/Mojang's quest to prevent people from getting custom texture packs onto Xbox so they'd be forced to use the marketplace they have inadvertently harmed users from merely transferring their worlds to PC. It use to be as simple as plugging in a USB, opening the Xbox file app and moving the world to your USB. From looking at YouTube every method now requires you to be a rocket scientist and to pay money, and they're typically patched soon after.
My favorite worlds I've spent almost a decade on are forever gone now. Ported them from 360 to Xbox One Edition, to Bedrock, now they're just gone. For a few extra marketplace dollars they've harmed legitimate users not even interested in custom packs from just transferring their worlds, its anti-consumer and unfair - basic simple useful features stripped away, I hope an official way to transfer worlds is added back.
