better food poisoning

I think it would be more interesting if when eating raw chicken instead of having a small chance of getting the hunger effect you had a chance to be poisoned after a certain amount of time. this would also be more realistic to how food poisoning works since it takes 24 - 48 hours for food poisoning to affect you, and perhaps this could apply to other raw food as well.
