Empty Overworld

Minecraft's overworld in singleplayer seems very empty and lonely. The emptiness can cause anxiety and is just purely unsettling. More overworld ambiance would make Minecraft much more immersive and less unsettling. Even small things like birds singing or wind blowing would help make the overworld much less empty. Having biome-specific ambiance would help much more than just anything, for example, why would you hear birds in the desert when there are little to no birds that sing in the desert? Every single great game has plenty of ambiance, while Minecraft is a great game, the ambiance would make it more complete and immersive.
