I always liked the idea of Minecraft having seasons, but I feel it would be difficult to incorporate into the game. I think having an autumn biome would make more sense. The jungle biome is like tropical summer, the flower biome is like spring, and then the snowy tundra is ofc similar to winter. The only thing missing would be a biome representing the fall/autumn. The leaves of trees in this biome would be different colors (similar to how when placing leaves in the desert they are more brown) and the grass color would also be changed (& possibly the sky color to an orange). It would also be cool if leaves would accumulate on the ground similar to how snow does in snowy biomes.
Other small things I would like to see added to the game in general is a larger flower pot so that the two-block tall flowers can be potted indoors. I also think adding different variants of evergreen trees, like junipers and holly would be a nice way to add the blue juniper berry texture to leaves and the red berry leaves with the holly. Right now all the leaves in the game (except flowering azaleas) are solid green. The juniper berries could be a source of food but eating too many would cause the player to get the nausea effect since in real life they can only be eaten in very small amounts.
Lastly, I think it would make sense if oak trees dropped acorns, and that could be cooked in a furnace for some food! :D
