Tiki Torch (2 Block Tall Bamboo Torches)

We all have tried the new bamboo wood set, and some of us have tried making makeshift tiki torches by placing a torch on a bamboo fence post. I think it looks jarring with a thick, bamboo textured fence block, abruptly cut of by a thinner wooden textured torch.

The Tiki Torch would fix this by adding the first two-block tall light source.

Crafting Recipe:
[  ][X][  ]      [  ][  ][X]
[  ][B][  ]  or [  ][B][  ]
[  ][B][  ]      [B][  ][  ]

X= Torch or coal
B= Bamboo

    Yes, it is a good idea and it would be something unique to bamboo, but my idea to improve it is that by breaking it from a bamboo and a charcoal

    Tiki soul torches as well with soul torches in place of regular torches in the crafting recipe.

    This would add so much to builds, mojang should add some to the witches hut!

    Great Idea.  Maybe this spawns in the desert biomes or potentially new Jungle Villages in place of the lamps Mojang provides which get the job done but arnt the best look wise.

    May it could have additional functional?
    So you'll be able to hold right click like for shield to stretch it forward and hold living entities away from you(they'll try to bypass it like if there would be a wall)?
    Also you can ignite entities and igniteable blocks(woods, wool, but not stones and obsidian like flint and steel can) while holding it with right click, but it will take some time.
    Igniting something with it will decrease it's durability.
    If you'll accidentally ignite a creeper with it, you'll be blown up the same way as with flint and steel.

     

    Tiki Torches dealing damage, like when you are standing in fire block.

    Soul Tiki Torches will deal 2x damage. Dealing fire damage will decrease durability too of course, burning damage won't.

    You can repair it with coal😊

    You can enchant it!

    May be there could be some enchanting, which could make this tool not bad for pvp?

    -Fast Ignition I-IV(set fire ticks to living entities and set fire on blocks faster, or instantly on IV lvl of the enchant. Also with this enchant you'll decrease durability of any shield which is used for blocking you, the faster the more lvl of enchant you have)

    -Burn Through I-IV(fire block damage (while you are holding right click at the enemy) will ignore defencive enchants and armour the more the more enchant lvl you have. 50% less effective against Fire Protection enchant and potion. Using full enchanted with fire protection top armour and fire protection potion at the same time will negate damage even for IV)

    Indeed! Instead of a tiki torch, per se, it could be Minecraft'd to something like a fire staff that is both a place-able light source and a fire damage-dealing weapon

    Yes, Mojang could simply copy the door's hitbox as they did with pistons, put the bamboo fences texture, add fire particles and make it glow.
