Special New Cactus Blocks

Currently, in Minecraft cacti blocks cannot be placed beside one another. This is a problem when you are building more lifelike cacti like the Saguaro, because you cannot use cacti blocks. Thus, you must use alternative blocks, which do not look as good. I think that there should be special new cactus blocks. These cacti will connect to the one another, but not the cacti blocks that are currently in the game. However, they can be placed next to the current cacti blocks without connecting. They would also be able to be placed next to leaves, grass, and flowers. These blocks would not be found naturally and would be crafted with the cactus blocks that we already have. There would be three blocks that could be added. One would look exactly like the normal cactus, but it would be capable of connecting to the other blocks. The second would be like a wall, but made of cactus. It can, again connect to other cacti. The final would be like a head, but, like the others, made of cactus. Maybe the one with the dimensions of a head can also work like a flower pot, and you can put flowers in it, but nothing else. I have some ideas for the recipes, displayed below.
