Koi/Carp would add new life to ponds

Koi could be a new type of fish that could only spawn in smaller bodies of water. They would have around 10 different color variations and potentially a rarer variant as well. Not only could they be bucketed or eaten, they could also give players luck if fished up. After all, koi represent luck in some Asian cultures.

    Akin to real life koi and koi history, maybe most naturally spawning koi are rather featureless save for one characteristic like a spot or color, so the players have to breed all these variants to get the marvelous designs patterns koi are renowned for. It could be an in-depth system players have to map out to figure out how to get specific patterns. It would be like how real koi breeders go about it. But in the off chance someone doesn't get this system, more complex patterns could on rare chance also spawn in the wild so players can just take those home.

    Also like real koi, in the game they shouldn't flee from players like salmon, cod, and tropical fish do.
