Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

There could also be a Chain Upgrade which speeds you up if you have it on arrmor or a Leather Upgrade that allows you to dye the better armor variants.

I think this would be kind of overpowered. The point of a turtle shell is that you can breathe longer underwater, but that you're sacrificing some of the protection you could have if you used something else. To be able to have both would be way too good. The same goes for gold's speed compared to other items. I likewise think that being invulnerable to fire with netherite armor might be too powerful as well. I would agree that it would be nice if there were more upgrades to perform aside from diamond -> netherite. Hopefully more items that need the smithing table to be made are eventually released.

It would be cool if the Smithing Table allows for some customization of armor in a way different from enchantments, sadly it would mean a lot of variant armor, weapon, tool, and looks potentially so more items versus new. However, it would make the smithing table more useful for sure.

Iron ignot, increase durability by 2 points (max 5)

Gold ingot, more enchantable rating (Max  3)

Copper  ingot, more speed by 2 points for weapons/tools (max 5) adds minor armor increasing (Max 2)

    Amethyst shard, hides enchantment glints

Emerald, turns armor invisible to the naked eye (still visible in slots)

I think the idea is amazing, but there would be flaws. Like if you had a diamond pickaxe and combined it with gold, the durability would have to be decreased.

a little op, so maybe like gold to diamond stuff gives slight speed but durability lowers

Such is agreed. I remember this one YouTube video who made something like this, like you could add Spyglasses to Crossbows to make it more like a gun or something and add and Eye of Ender to a Spyglass so you could see mobs through walls when you look through it. Credit to Systemzee for the ideas!
