Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Spike Trap Block

You can place this block down and when it's powered by redstone, it will activate, damaging anyone on top. Found in jungle temples as a trap (because the current traps are easily disabled) and craftable with iron nuggets, cobblestone, and redstone. This would make better redstone traps as well as more ways to make mob farms.

    I should think dripstone over iron nuggets, but it would be a handy trap type for vanilla especially for mob grinders.
