Food Update

I think that there should be a new block, the Chopping Board, which would be the item used for making all kinds of new food items, like sandwiches and different cakes. An example could be a baguette, made in the Chopping Board with two bread and whichever toppings, such as tomatoes and lettuce, as well as adding new types of meats including ham and turkey.

The player would be able to restore an amount of hunger that would be corresponding to what was put in the sandwich, over different times (the sandwich would not all be eaten at once).

Also, cake could be made from different ingredients, like carrots or chocolate (made from cocoa beans put in a furnace/smoker, maybe?)

I have previously mentioned lettuce, tomatoes etc, because I think that in addition to sandwiches and cakes, other crops, fruit and vegetables should be available for players to harvest. A suggestion of mine would be that the trees of a certain biome produce fruits native to their region in the real world (like a jungle producing bananas, or an icy/snowy biome producing pears/plums, quite similar to how jungle trees produce cocoa beans), and being able to plant seeds of crops like tomatoes and lettuce into soil tilled by a hoe.

I think these suggestions would provide a lot more variety to Minecraft's food system, which has not received too many major updates for a very long time.

I appreciate that there have been a few other food update requests, but I have not seen any suggestions for sandwiches and more crops.
