We all know that every mob in minecraft that has growth stages only has two: baby and adult. But no longer! I think that the Sniffer, being a more ancient mob, should have three growth stages: A baby that hatches from the egg, some sort of 'teenager' growth stage between the two we know (the main difference being size), and the adult which would be large like we saw in the trailers. And maybe (one of) the plants it could find would produce some sort of fruit that wouldn't be edible to the player, but could keep mobs at younger growth stages while still being able to function as adults of their kind would.
