Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Legend books in Minecraft

Add a set of books (like 20 or something) with little short stories/ Legends that you can find in loot chest. There could be books that hint to new players of features like how to build a portal or stories that's fun to read. These books could help entice players to write there own legend books and help explorers that want to find all the books. Might be good to add along side the new book shelves.
