Ice at the end of the game?

Simple, but cool (pun definitely intended), having ice form in the end when water source blocks are placed down in the end seems to make sense, at least to me. Considering the end has no sunlight, that leaves me to believe that it's colder than Pluto. With this ideology, ice should literally be able to form anywhere where water is placed in the end, unless a torch is placed by it, or something. It would create a larger variability in being able to create ice farms and it would also add another thing to be anxious about when you decide to place down a water bucket when trying to cower from an angry haunting.
