Tree elemental

Tree elementals would be living humanoid trees that disquise themselves as a normal tree whenever anyone is around. You can walk as close as you wan't to them, and they are nuetral mobs. However, if you mistake it for a normal tree and attempt to chop it down or turn it into a tree house, it will change form and attack you. They have nearly double the hp of an iron golem, and would do around the same damage if not a little more. Trees can also be awakened by planting god apples which will then grow into a Tree elemental and protect you the same way an iron golem would.

Not well thought out. Why would they be in disguise? For example, in Diablo 3, such creatures suddenly attack travelers from disguise, because they are predators.
Also, camouflage may be needed to hide from predators, but who would feed on such creatures? Giants? A pack of wolves?
