Crystals counting as Player Kills when exploded by a player

It is always on a pity when you are on a server using end crystal pvp or anchor pvp and you killing somebody with a crystal only counts as ... was blown up if the player didn't hit the user before. It would be nice if they would be tracked as player kills in the statistic and would show up in chat as for example

... was blown up by ...
