There's a mistake with mega tiga that is about to be repeated with baobab to explain we gotta go way back in 2013 (during the days of notch) the mega tiga was added (the reason rn for no reswoods) the issue wasn't the new spruce variant in mega tiga (mostly) but rather how the mega tiga came to be, back when notch was working on minecraft the way he chose new ideas to come to minecraft was 'Quote' "If something ever doesn't feel fun, I'll remove it. I believe that I can combine enough fun, accessibility and building blocks for this game to be a huge melting pot of emergent gameplay." - Notch, so when he was adding mega tigas he used inspiration from the redwoods because the redwoods are a type of spruce(also there is no giant spruce forest besides redwoods or at leat none i could find) so at the time since he wasn't really going for to realistic or considering too many factors (ex:sharks minecraft wont add sharks to avoid causing a misunderstanding about them and at the time endangered things hadn't been put in to promote awareness) he was just trying to make it fun. Notch made mega tiga with normal spruce there's no coincidence in it looking so similar it's just because notch wasnt considering other factors like being endangered or just different redwoods are and now in the near future baobab trees will have the same issue but with acacia, Im no botanists or coder but i know redwood is different enough to be its own wood rather then just a variation the same goes for baobab
