New structure for 1.20

This structure would be found in the ocean it would be a ship the titanic. It would also have a lot of loot in it and have the new bookshelves with written books in it about how the ship sank there would be plants in the ship too. Having this in the game would give people information. That don't know about the titanic and would be a memorial to the titanic.

    We don't need real life structures or locations in Minecraft. Minecraft does not take place in the real world, so why would they have the Titanic?

    The problem here is twofold: 

    1) The titanic absolutely does not fit into the medieval/fantasy world of Minecraft.

    2) Any sort of lore implications are supposed to be so open ended and full of gaps, that each player can fill those gaps with their own imagination and piece it all together in their own unique ways. As such, having full on written logs of the ship's sinking would feel very out of place.

    The shipwrecks, we already have, are about as close as we are ever going to get to something like the titanic.

    I love this idea I love the story of the titanic it would be great to have real history in Minecraft

    Hi Minecraft,

    I think the new sturcture should be ancient shelter that was used by ancient players.  It would be smallish and safe for the player, and come with basics; bed, crafting table, furnice.  

    But instead of Sniffer eggs being found in Ocean Monuments, they are found in this new strurcture.  

    Maybe it is called an Ancient Hermitage.

    i think what your wanting is more like a Relms thing, or even a theme pack. the titanic alredy has documentaries and movies. this would be more on a player to create, than a theme from a developer.

    I don't think that's a good idea. It's basically a glorified shipwreck. Also, Minecraft is not real life and having a titanic would just be weird. Minecraft isn't supposed to be an educational game, either, and it would be better to use the bookshelves for in-game lore, not as a memorial. I do agree that having a new structure of massive size would be a good thing, though.

    Minecraft does not take place in the real world, but is a fantasy game that takes place in the pre-industrial era of human.

    It doesn’t fit Minecraft’s overall ambience, it would be just too out of place.
