I was thinking of a plausable use of the Fletching Table. Similarlly how Smithing Tables are used to upgrade diamond tools - perhaps Fletching Tables could upgrade and improve arrows.
For example, you'd place the arrow in the first slot and apply one of three 'shards' to the secondary slot. These three shards could be the already implimented: Echo Shards, Prismarine Shards and perhaps Amethyst Crystal, giving these items a more fleshed out purpose in Minecraft.
Upgrading the arrow with the Echo Shard could be used to, when firing, make a loud noise that echoes on impact. This would be a great tool against the Warden, and perhaps even stunning him briefily (on a cooldown).
Upgrading with the Prismarine Shard could allow the arrows to not be affected by water resistance, making Ocean Monuments a lot easier to clear with a ranged option.
Finally, upgrading it with an Amethyst Shard would allow the arrow to ricochet upon impact, similarlly how light bends and refract within a crystal, decreasing damage upon each ricohet.
Just thought it could flesh out the Fletching Table. I wouldn't imagine these arrows could have potions applied to them, which would still give standard arrows a place in the game come late-game.
