Colored lanterns

This is something I’ve always dreamed of having in Minecraft, I’ve always imagined using different colored lanterns as ornaments to hang on my spruce tree for Christmas.

    It would be cool, but they wouldn't give off a different colored light so I'd be a little disappointed

    It would be cool but unfortunately I think that Mojang is not thinking about adding "colored iluminations" but we might get lucky, who knows.

    There is currently no color lighting in the game. For example, if you surround a light source with colored glass, nothing will change. And there is little point in adding something that is only half functional. Therefore, first you need to embed the necessary shader into the game in the performance settings menu.

    I love this idea so much. It could be cool to hang the hanging signs and have the colored lanterns with it. This would add so many possibilities for cool builds.

    If added, they should make the green lantern using copper!

    If only the lighting system could match the colors of the lanterns. This would tint the surrounding blocks with colored light!

    Colored stained glass, or panes could be used in crafting, or even use the colored candles.

    Nice idea! It would be fully functional using RTX or Shaders (and maybe the new Renderdragon graphics if it releases), but also a nice decoration using Vanilla Minecraft.

    Agree, I think being able to combine colored glass panes and either regular or soul lanterns would be great. Please add this Mojang

    I would love to have coloured iron lanterns. We got green copper ones but they are harder to work with. The black outline of the iron one is more neutral and will work with more builds so i would love to add stained glass to them to have all the colours in game.
