Rafts should behave similarly to old Boats

Rafts should be able to float up in water instead of sink when they are submerged. If you drop into the water from a high place, the raft should drop INTO the water like the player does but should then shoot back out.

The Durability of Rafts would stay the same as boats, as well as the functionality to hold the player and a chest/mob/2nd player.

    when they made boats sink and kick the player out, it messed with some builds. The raft would make sense to float better so that it could go up shallow water falls.

    this seems like a really good Idea. I would run into a Lilly pad on purpose to make people mad.

    The idea is fun, but a bit useless, also when I first read the title I thought you meant that rafts should be completely obliterated when hitting a block just like those annoying old boats

    An interesting idea, but I think it will cause more players frustration rather then not. So I don't think it's a good idea.

    The suggested physics made for lots of fun in the past. And they make a lot of sense for rafts, since they can't fill up with water. If necessary, some added straps (maybe string in the recipe) could provide lore for why players don't dismount when submerged on a raft.
