The hanging sign recipe is a scam. Regular signs cost 6 planks and 1 stick to make 3 of them, which is 2 planks and 1/3 stick per sign. Hanging signs cost 6 stripped logs and 2 chains to make 6 of them, which means it is 4 plank, 2 axe durabilities, and about 3.67 iron nuggets per sign. Bamboo signs are a bit less with 6 planks giving 2, which is still 1 plank more than the regular sign and doesn't even match up with the other scummy signs.
I think the hanging sign recipes should be unified to have planks instead of stripped logs, and yield 3 items just like the regular sign recipe. Maybe it shoul also use 1 chain instead of 2, but I would like it better if the chain recipe was cheaper as well. The razer thin chain model doesn't even look like its volume is over 0.4074 cubic meters or 107 gallons in liquid volume. Maybe 4 chains per 1 craft would align beter with the stick crafting recipe.
