Unchanting your items

  • Un enchanting your items would be a big help for players who either, collect uniques, or just want to use a new peice of gear without needing to salvage or spend time and emeralds on upgrading something your not going to use, which would also help end game players.
    With the new feature of the enchantsmith, it would be a good time to add something more then just rerolling your enchants for "a little bit of gold", which when the merchant is a villager, it would make a bit more sense for it to want emeralds instead of gold. Of course, if a merchant would gild and item, giving it a gilded enchantment, that would make more sense for the use of gold, maybe a piglin goldsmith, or gildsmith, but that's just an idea.

    If the idea of using gold in completely set in stone, or gold, then i'd suggest toning it down a Notch.
