Adjustment to Voting method

Hi!

 

I loved this years (2022) mob vote method rather than on twitter.

I have one suggestion, can you change it to a ranked voting system?

Straight voting (only one per person) allows us to vote for our favorite. Ranked voting would allow the community to vote for their preference.

Example using 2022 mob vote results:

we have three people and they ranked their votes as:

1) tuff golem, sniffer, rascal

2) sniffer, tuff golem, rascal

3) tuff golem, rascal, sniffer

Following the irl results, when it turned out the tuff golem had the fewest votes, person 1's vote would have shifted to the sniffer, while person 3's vote would have shifted to the rascal.

This ranked method would allow the same system of voting for 24 hours before live, but allow people to still 'vote' for the second round by adjusting their vote based on their ranked vote.

The other potential positive: Minecraft likes to educate through experience (staying true to frogs and removing the fireflies, or the soon to release camels and how they move.) It would be an interesting learning opportunity to introduce people to other options of democratic voting. (ranked versus one direct)
