And maybe because they store water in their humps, you can milk them for water? Also, In real life, When a dromedary and a Bactrian mate, the result is just a bigger one hump, called a F1 hybrid. So maybe there's three types of camels??? These ideas were just me spit balling whatever I thought of real fast, but the main idea here is just a two humped camel variant. I imagine when this update comes out, I'm going to tame some camels right away, and I would just love two humped camels as well as one humped. I know a lot of other players have been asking for this as well. It gives it more diversity and life, and besides, wild Bactrian camels are CRITICALLY ENDANGERED! Just 1400 of them are left. Putting them in the game would not only give me and other players joy, create a more lifelike scenario, and bring more diversity to the camels, but help raise awareness for this species. Honestly, the only thing I want in this update is two humped camels. It's relatively easing coding to do, I ask you sincerely; Please Mojang. Add two humped camels

Dude, camels don't store water in their humps. That's just a myth, and real camels store fat in their humps.

I only support thee partly. Since it is a difference between the species bactrian camel and dromedaries. Because they are two separate species of the genus camelus (camel). It just happens to be that the Bactrian camel is so typical and prominenet that it has become the main species in the genus.

I feel that calling it by its genus name camel is like naming the mob panda as bear, or the mob pig as swine, or name us humans as hominidae; great apes.

Or almost like calling the mob panda as Sloth bear, or the mob pig as boar, or name us humans as chimpanzee. They are both in each example are closely related, but still different, their own names.

But I would support thee more if they made the camel mob also could be the bactrian camel. But it is still different spesies. They are different enough and are evolved for different climates. But there are possible to breed two closely related species, like horses and donkies, or lions and tigers. But that does not make them the same species.
But thou were referencing with horses are still different from this case, since the game switches between different races of horses, since there are really only one singular horse-species that became the domesticated horse. There also seems to be also two really small sister-species, but one is extinct, and the other are very rare.

The donkey are a different mob in the game, since it is a different species. And the mule become a third mob, because a mule is not a donkey, and a mule is not a horse.

yeah, two-humped Bactrian Camel is a good idea! Could be a very rare variant of a camel.
