Slithern

The Slithern is an ancient desert folktale that was to believe it would kill the livestock and take some unlucky villagers lives every full moon. When the player finds its den the player will be greeted by the slithern beast and it will try to kill the player. When the slithern dies it could drop exp, Slithern skull, or a Slithern tooth. After going back to the village you can get the heroes of the village achievement. Which currently you can only get by defeating a raid.
